Thinking Like an Engineer

So the first thing one must do to think like an engineer is to think about infrastructure and building things properly. Remember as kids when we used to solve puzzles? Step by step one puts the puzzle together and then the puzzle showcases its masterpiece. The same thing in engineering. One uses the tools that are provided to them and then from there they put something together. These days it’s hard to find people who are brilliant enough to put things together from scratch, but really is that even possible?

Product of Product

So let’s say we look at the invention of a computer or tv. What was invented before? Look at tools used to make the TV. There are chips, hard drive discs, etc. Who invented those tools? Obviously, each tool is used to engineer or build something together. Even with a hard drive disc, there are tools to put together the hard drive disc. The point being made? We are all engineers in some shape or form. Take a look at an average human being. At heart, we are bare naked. We are all being engineered to put on our own masterpieces. Someone's style might be this, someone's style might be that. One picks out their clothes and then puts them on. This in fact is a part of engineering. In fact, many go to the Fashion Institute of Technology and study the art of clothes. When one dives deep into clothes, one can see how much detail is put into clothes. The fabric, the Whool, etc... every day we are engineering ourselves to become stronger people. Then from there, one engineer's what they're going to put in their body. Then from there, one goes to a location and decides to spend their time there. That is the art of engineering one's life. So when one is spending time on building oneself, people learn that everything we do is watched and everything we do is important. The way you treat yourself is the way others will treat you. So for example, if one treats oneself with dignity then from there people will respect and treat you with dignity. If one treats themselves not the best, then from there one won't have respect.

Engineer

These days it’s easier than ever to be your own engineer. If one studies business, real business is when one decides that life is about building your own life. When one builds their own life then from there what can happen is they become their own engineer. So let’s take a look at simple supply chain. Let’s say we ignore infrastructure and buildings as these things cost money. Let’s say we focus specifically on digital. On digital, one must understand how to use their tools on social media really well. If one understands how to present themselves and knows how to use social media, then from there they are already classified as an engineer. Let’s say one uses their brain and realizes they can use multiple social media assets. Then from there, they’re able to line up a company using social media. Now one can classify this as being an engineer. All top tier corporates use social media to build their own companies and their own business. Let’s say one looks at programming. That itself obviously is engineering. All of us in this day and age especially with the rise of AI technology and all the tools we can use, are engineers so it’s important to not belittle ourselves and know our true value. But it’s also important to understand that we can’t be lazy and we can all be replaced by robots by people by so many things especially if we’re lazy. Being lazy always catches up to you. No one respects the lazy, they only respect the hardworking or the ones who are putting their time and effort to try to build things rather than hurt him.

Following a Mission

When one dives deep into a mission, they become more of an engineer. At the end of the day even the chef is an engineer with their recipe. The more in tune you become with what you want to accomplish the more chances of becoming an engineer because when one dives deep into a mission, then from there they learn more and develop more. For example, if the main mission is to be a billionaire, when one step is taken, that is one step in engineering accomplished. Then there’s another step. When that step is taken, then more is accomplished when it comes to engineering, then wait something else comes up regarding the first step, so now one dives deep more into that category. When one dives deep into that category what happens is they learn a lot more and when they learn more a good mission is created and then there’s more hope. Always dive deep into your mission and/or always find ways to grow grow and grow. This helps people become more motivated and then there's more growth. The more growth the more people’s spirits are happier and the more excited they become.

Overview

So overall in life if one wants to be an engineer, one must be ready to dive deep into their mission. When one dives deep into their mission then from there one becomes more of an engineer. Obviously like said before if one looks at a puzzle, one puts it together and then a masterpiece is created which was already there. Similar to VC companies who use tools to create a presentation. So when one is creating things and working on things, then from there the focus becomes more engineering. If one wants to be a successful engineer, they must be able to think about putting things together rather than separating. They must understand that life is about presentation. The word presentation goes over our heads because that itself is a form of engineering. One must present themselves in a way where that showcases who they are and what message they are trying to send. If one presents themself in the right manner, then from there what can happen is a lot of growth and people can start taking you more seriously.
