The Start of Nike
Nike. Just do it. One of the most powerful brands of all time. So many legends have worn Nike in this world. The founder of the company, Phil Knight, is one of the most powerful men of all time. His legacy starts with his love for track. Phil Knight made friends with a track coach and then from there created the first Nike Shoe. It took Phil Knight a long time to find a distributor for his shoe and his first distribution was in Japan. Now looking at Nike, the company is much bigger than Phil Knight, but the issue is without Phil Knight there is no Nike. The start of the company is what matters. Compared to before, athletes are losing a lot of importance and the focus now is on the athletes. Is the product good? Where’s the growth? What’s next as the people consuming are more important.
Athlete's Power?
Now actually questionable the best basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan is one of the biggest reasons why Nike is so big. Now, LeBron James might be the best basketball player of all time. Ever since Michael Jordan, there hasn’t been an athlete who really replaced his significance when it comes to Nike. The issue is Nike has so many athletes in this world, that what matters more is the development of products and things that are high-end. It’s time for Ivy students to take over sports as that’s what is in style compared to organizations. Now the big issue is, do expect NBA contracts to drop price or stay even kill with the worker price because what matters more is the people building around. For example, if there is technology being developed by Nike, that is more important than the athlete. Also, keep in mind the athletes have high-end doctors. So expect the Ivy kid's pay grades to highly increase and the athletes to drop because their lives look more exciting. Although that is fine, that’s why the friendship between organizations and athletes struggles unless the athlete is really good and provides value. Expect organizations unless serious superstars to start paying more salary-driven salaries as the talent in sports is becoming centralized. If one looks at the NBA, all the all-stars are pretty similar and athletes and genetics are only improving every day with all the doctor research that is taking place every single day.
Top Nike Products
So Nike has so much amazing gear worldwide. The distribution of the world is what Nike owns. Obviously, there are companies who are really similar but the product of Nike is top tier. They have the perfect balance with product and design. With the legacy of the athletes and the growth of the athletes, sometimes Nike gets away from product development and is less focused there because the investment of the athlete make up for the products. Now look at the shoes. The shoes are top-tier and are the most advanced shoes of all time. At this time, Hassan’s favorite shoe from Nike is the one he got shouted out by. The Kyrie's. The water gun represents the time he hit his friend in the head with a water gun and then cried, the color green represents the time he went to St. Joseph Metuchen and the color Yellow represents the time he played for the Vikings. Now why did he get so much respect from Nike? Rather than be a thug, Hassan decided to document so many top-tier athletes in the world and showcase their talent as he deeply loved basketball. Although he still practices, he is more focused on his new showcase of what he accomplished with the whole world. Back to Nike, the athletes do set the trends, but who really is the most important are the ones who cater to the athletes. Each shoe has its own unique feel, design, and are extraordinary.
Why Nike Over Other Brands?
Nike’s sharp branding is unmatched and their investment in the culture is the reason why. When it comes to sports culture the only thing that matters is the culture because they are the ones who bring the trends. So politically usually people hold out from the culture as they want to get paid. The biggest fear is what happens if the culture totally leaves all these brands and decides to build their own. You’ll see many try and not care about where life is but the brands are necessary and will always have that leverage. Also with government regulations, things are always in control of the government and they have to give clearance. As we can see there are so many companies built off athletes' names which decrease the value of top-tier brands. Many are focused on how can they help the low community out of boring jobs and have their lives more fun because at the end of the day although Nike is beautiful and a great company the idea is to have more people out of the projects. In the future, there’s a huge chance that the White House will make a rare constitutional investment directly in sports to improve the culture and community and create their own NBA chain, NFL chain, etc… so this way the communities improve and then the USA is directly fixed. This is something I can see in the future as one does their research as there have been so many investigations in sports over all sorts of things.
Overview
Overall Nike is one of the best companies of all time due to its authenticity and choices of athletes. The biggest fear for Nike is when LeBron James retires who is going to take over for them. In our opinion, Lamine Yamal is the future of sports at the moment, by far the most exciting athlete we have seen. With a great social following and being muslim and trendy many are pouring their money into Yamal. There is some fear as Lamine hasn't scored in a while that his name can be thrown to the side, so he must stay sharp on the field but he'll bounce back. We'll see where Nike goes here with their next athlete.
