The Essence of Time

Time is everything and we only have so much time in our lives. It's important to live our life with a purpose and to make sure that the goal is to grow people and not hurt them. The more older you become, the more you realize that everything is about others, not yourself. Of course one wants to feel a high and feel excited about themselves but the idea is to improve other people's lives. In start-ups, there's so much competition the issue becomes each person becomes powerful. This isn't an issue but it's always better to work together with big thoughts and grow for back up. Time is everything here as one can't waste time and must continue to develop every single day.

Mindset

Every day one must be sharp. The mindset is to kill but not to actually kill. That’s how business is built. So the mindset is to stay out of your feelings and to make sure that you believe in yourself. Sometimes in life people will try to belittle you but that doesn’t matter, what matters is making sure to actually deliver. The sad part about delivering is mentally one becomes out of the loop or becomes a slave to its craft, but don’t forget we’re all a slave to someone. No one is above the government. If you have a bigger role remember, people can take away the role and that’s it. Always remember that one is a slave to something. Always focus on your own growth and don’t be afraid of changing things in this world. Obviously nothing is accomplished alone it’s always a team effort but that’s what life is about. If one focuses specifically on trying to be the most sharp, they must have the tools to build around. Let’s say I take a phone and I film myself lifting weights or my physique. This is something that can be used in business and in start ups. The delivery is everything though. If I have this clip on Forbes magazine the perspective changes of the clip. The value increases dramatically but the clip is still made in a small place. That’s the value of good presentation. That’s what startups are all about. The value. Not the money.

Caring About Others

When it comes to startups besides intermediate family it’s hard to care for others because it’s an environment where feelings don’t really matter. One just deliver, there are timetables and to be honest no one really cares. Obviously though it’s important to have love and compassion and remember that the idea of a startup is to improve people’s lives. Let’s say your startup is huge now, the idea is to make sure people realize their potential and keep going as hard as possible. In addition always try your best not to talk down and uplift people. That can really backfire if you think too much of yourself. Deliver deliver deliver and then hopefully the energy of others rather than lets shoot something up is wow that’s inspiring let me try to to build myself. As a startup founder remember to always feed your people and to always make sure they can outgrow you. Otherwise there’s no point. One is allowed to outgrow each other and pick each other up. The more we think like that the more people grow and the less violence we all see. The more collaborations the better.

Working and Trusting Others

As someone who is trying to make a start up one must understand that they are chasing change in the world rather than money. If money is the objective what is the point of the start up. A start up has to have a focus where things are changing and where things are improving otherwise the issue becomes what is the point of the startup. There are so many great companies it’s important that the company has a serious focus because if there’s a focus then from there a start-up can then be developed. If one believes in themself and is in the right environment then one can be used for bigger purposes if the start-up intent is right. If the start up is too focused on delivering top tier talent then what happens is now one is reliant on their delivery and the money. So in a startup ignoring money is really important and feeding other people’s pockets is way more important and making sure they’re taken care of. Once that is complete the next step should attaching startups and/or companies that have VC potential to create something. Now the issue becomes with this theory is, one still has to develop in house directly because it has to be authentic and things have to grow in house for a specific company. If it’s a VC company, the idea is to focus specifically in house on growth and then from there see what others think when it comes to injecting capital. The same way that capital is injected is what the tech capital has to be as people follow other people’s growth. So the hard part in a startup up is taking the culture and then from there also working on the technology bases around to get things done properly for strong growth. Many factors come into play with a VC company and there are so many categories one must focus on so it’s important to grow in all categories and that is something that is difficult. Being good at one thing isn’t the answer anymore, the answer is becoming a master of everything.10,000 hours of each trait is more important than trying one and staying true to it. Always try new things and try to become above average in each.
