Overview of Topic
In New York City, if one rides on the subway, one will see at least one homeless human on a train or one street dancer performing who is not paid properly. Poverty is something that still exists in our world today although the money supply has increased dramatically. Take a look at the sports salary cap and/or at the average salary of an American. Banks have done a great job hiding the problem by creating more bonds to hide the fact that most are in debt. Many thought that COVID-19 would be a great time to fix this issue, but the world went right back to its ways and started running quickly. In addition, according to many sources, every ten years the market tends to completely crash and reset, and our world is overdue for a stock market crash. The moral of this story is most people in this world are stuck in poverty and/or stuck in tough situations. Can’t name any examples, but many have overspent, and many have been thrown to the side after providing. Our world is always in poverty.
Has Poverty Increased and Decreased
“The rich are going to get richer, the poor are going to get poorer.” According to the World Bank Group, about 8.5 million people live in extreme poverty. That’s 8.5 percent of the global population. “Poverty, Prosperity, and Planet Report 2024.” World Bank, www.worldbank.org/en/publication/poverty-prosperity-and-planet. Accessed 4 Feb. 2025. Poverty is something that is going to rise in our world as we progress forward. As each day goes by, people become more insensitive to others and people are more inclined to focus on their own lives rather than others. With the rise of more freedom on our planet to develop our own infrastructure, naturally people are reverting away from each other and many are not adjusting as people are caught up with their day-to-day lives. Money is being put to the side and now technology is money. One can pick up a laptop, create their own database, and then get a valuation from the bank and supply millions of jobs to people who don’t have this sense of education. In fact, a homeless man can get this done in a Dunkin' Donuts and have the same power as an owner. Many will not adjust well to technological advances as they are stuck in their day-to-day lives and are going to be losing money rapidly. Many companies will not be able to adjust and then new digital wraps will be brought in. The hope is these digital wraps create jobs and employment. What is going on in the corporate world is, that the rich are only catering to the rich to avoid poverty issues as they can become annoying or detrimental with all the outside noise they bring increasing poverty.
The Rise of AI Capital Raises/Venture Capital
With technological advances, Venture Capitalists have been throwing money like wildfire at companies that many have not heard of hurting our infrastructure. Although useful companies, their strategy is similar to a casino. Bring a lot of money, put it on the table, and hopefully hit the jackpot. We’ll hit the jackpot eventually. What this has done is made people with access to education more wealthy, and others have been thrown to the side. In addition, many of these companies have not IPO’d as building a company is competitive. Also, the companies that people have thrown to venture capitalists, have a competitive advantage over hard-working people who want to own their companies as it’s a less selfish approach. Due to Venture Capital Raises many small businesses will collapse and the rise of poverty in local communities will increase.
How Do We Stop Poverty?
Everyone is off to the races in corporate, away from people with ideology unless they have capital funds to match their theories. As people get older they tend to only care for themselves as each person has their own unique motive in life. Some need this to happen, some need that to happen, so things move fast and people start neglecting feelings. Instead of Venture Firms taking their venture money and recruiting low talent, corporations tend to only hire the educated or cater to the educated, as the idea of venture is to run away and create digital wraps around the infrastructure as it's outdated. Due to the rise of corporations, many are becoming enslaved and although wrong, a lot of the infrastructure of our world would have to change and this is impossible to change most likely. If one wants out of poverty, one must adjust to technology as real estate is expensive and mostly closed off.
